Hello,
I just noticed this two fields in free tier key activation. Is there any limitation for cluster nodes count? And also some instance sizing 4?
<max-cluster-nodes>3</max-cluster-nodes>
<instance-size>Sizing 4</instance-size>
Thank you
Martin

Hey @martin.prager,
So, I never like to answer with “I don’t know” - but I also don’t want to leave this question hanging - so, for the time being, I don’t know the answer, at least with respect to !
For this is a mechanism we use to price subscriptions - the different sizing options allow for different numbers of CPUs/vCPUs. As a Free Tier user this should not matter, and in any case, Sizing 4 does not have an upper limit.
But, I’m checking on both points with our Engineering team and will let you know a definitive answer when I get one.
Best regards,
Ben
Hi Martin, Just coming back to this - I've checked with our team, and yes, the maximum nodes in a cluster with the Free Tier are 3. The logic here is that since there's no limit on the vertical scaling, a 3-node cluster should be sufficient for most use cases. For anything requiring more resources it would be highly recommended to have a Subscription to gain the benefits that provides, including the ability to run with more nodes in a cluster. Best regards, Ben
