2026.Q1.7-LTS is out now, and is available on the Free Tier

Hi everyone,

OK, so contradicting my last update (I should have know better…) we’ve just released Liferay DXP 2026.Q1.7-LTS and it’s available for us with the Free Tier.

The Downloads page has been updated, and because we’ve also just released 2026.Q2 the dropdown list now has both entries in it (you’ll find Q2 at the top of list).

For Docker Users the syntax is as it always is:

  • For 2026.Q1.7-LTS: docker pull liferay/dxp:2026.q1.7-lts
  • For 2026.Q2.0 - docker pull liferay/dxp:2026.q2.0

And, an important note (which you can read more about here), it doesn’t matter when you generate your Activation Key for the Free Tier, it will work with any version that is available to the Free Tier. So, if you got your key in Q1, it will work with Q2, Q3, Q4 etc. And, if you get a new key now, even though it will say it is for Q2, it will still work with Q1.

No, the Liferay DXP Free Tier started with 2026.Q1.

Keys generated for 2026.Q1 will work with all versions from 2026.Q1.0 forward that are compatible with the Free Tier - but not with any earlier versions like 2025.Q1.
