From Red to Green: Improving SEO, Accessibility, Performance and Agentic Browsing Scores with Liferay DXP
Presenters:
- Bárbara Barros da Silva, Solutions Architect, Liferay
- Guilherme Colonnese, Sales Engineer, Liferay
In this hands-on workshop, participants will access a pre-populated Liferay DXP site intentionally configured with common real-world gaps across all five Lighthouse categories: Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, SEO, and Agentic Browsing. The session runs in three stages. First, everyone runs Lighthouse against the site and records the baseline scores — the starting “red” state. Second, a step-by-step guide walks through native Liferay DXP parameterizations to address each category: CDN configuration and image optimization for Performance; semantic markup and contrast settings for Accessibility; canonical tags, redirects, XML sitemaps and friendly URLs for SEO; structured data output and MCP server configuration for Agentic Browsing; and security and best-practice settings for Best Practices. No custom code required — everything is done through Liferay’s native platform capabilities. Third, participants run Lighthouse again and compare their scores, seeing the measurable before/after improvement live.Participants will leave with a checklist mapping each Lighthouse 13 insight to a specific Liferay DXP configuration or parametrization they can apply immediately to their own implementations.Bring your laptop — this is a build-along session with real metrics, not slides.
