Hi,
I have an environment on a DXP2026Q1.9 where I activated the new CMS, so it create all the objects associated like :
- L_20115_CMSBasicWebContent
- L_20115_CMSBlog
- L_20115_CMSBulkActionTask
- etc
I tried to upgrade to the DXP2026Q3.6 but I get the error :

com.liferay.portal.kernel.upgrade.UpgradeException: com.liferay.object.exception.ObjectFieldLabelException: Label is null for locale French (France)
at com.liferay.portal.kernel.upgrade.UpgradeProcess.upgrade(UpgradeProcess.java:130) ~[portal-kernel.jar:?]

And specifically the CMSBulkActionTaskTaskResultUpgradeProcess
So if understand well :
- I got in CMSBulkActionTaskTaskResultUpgradeProces the method that add a new ObjectFIeld with the parameter for the label being :
- HashMapBuilder.put(LocaleUtil.US, “Task Result”).build()
- SO only the US langage
- But in ObjectFieldLocalServiceImpl , the AddMethod finish with a validateLabel that validate the localized label but using the Locale Site Default
- My site is in French by Default, I don’t even have the en_US activated
- So when it checked the label of the new ObjectField that was created only with the LocalUtil.US on my French Liferay, it create an exception
Is it because of that wokflow I have the problem ?
How can I upgrade from Q1.9 to Q3.6 with this problem ?
