While testing out the new CMS, found that the site is calling the following URL’s continuously without any user inputs.
/o/cms/bulk-action-tasks?pageSize=5&sort=dateCreated%3Adesc
/o/cms/bulk-action-tasks?filter=executionStatus+eq+%27initial%27+or+executionStatus+eq+%27started%27&pageSize=-1
Testing Environment
Liferay Version : Liferay DXP 2026.Q1.9 LTS
Licensing : Free Tier
OS : Linux & Windows
Java : OpenJDK 21.0.10 LTS
Database : MySQL 8.4 LTS
Steps to reproduce : Enabled the feature flag for new CMS, and then navigated to new CMS (Tried in 2 different environments, both were fresh installations). No errors or other activity in the logs (Liferay logs and browser console). Please see the attached file.
Not sure this is happening in 2026.Q2.x versions or not. And since 2026.Q1.9 LTS is the latest version that supports Free Tier, not sure how we can fix this without moving to 2026.Q2.x ?
