What is the problem we were trying to solve?
Liferay provides notification templates for sending emails and notifications, but migrating these templates between environments can become a manual and time-consuming process, especially for large Liferay implementations.
For example, consider a Liferay instance with 15+ sites and 100+ notification templates. When moving from development to UAT or production, administrators may need to recreate or manually migrate these templates, increasing effort and the risk of configuration inconsistencies.
A simple, centralized way to export and import notification templates can significantly simplify this process.
What is our module about?
AX Notifications Template Migrator is a Liferay module that provides an administrative interface within the Liferay Control Panel to export and import notification templates.
The module is designed to simplify notification template migration across Liferay environments by allowing administrators to export templates into JSON files and import them into another environment.

What is our proposed solution?
The proposed solution is to provide a reusable, easy-to-use migration utility that eliminates the need to manually recreate notification templates across environments.
With AX Notifications Template Migrator, administrators can:
