Please provide some statistics to get an idea about marketplace’s performance for individual apps. This can (best case) help prioritizing individual apps for improvement, or give an indicator that a particular app is not matching market needs.
As it is right now, Marketplace does not give any clue about adoption rate (for free apps). Charging money just to get some feedback for an app’s performance simply isn’t the proper way, but payments are the only way I can see to get any feedback about an app’s adoption rate.
