2026.Q2.0 is released, and can be used with the Free Tier

Hi everyone,

I’m very pleased to announce that as of early this morning (my time here in Australia) we have released Liferay DXP 2026.Q2. You now have the choice of running either Q1 or Q2 with the free tier, and it doesn’t matter whether your activation key was generated for Q1 or Q2, they will work with either.

This new release provides a number of new features for all users. For subscribers we’ve also introduced two brand new capabilities in Beta status:

  • Liferay Data Platform
  • Digital Sales Rooms

And, we’ve moved our Cloud Native Experience (CNE) for Amazon AWS into GA, which means that subscribers have a new deployment approach to automate deploying Liferay DXP into AWS.

The linking on Depracation & Breaking changes page is kind of broken:

If I click on “2026.Q2 Maintenance…” it goes to the right page but in the left menu I can see table for Q1

The pages do exist though and in some cases they can be seen in the left menu:

Small thing but worth fixing because I already started reading Q1 depracations before I noticed :wink:
