Site Initializer Client Extension changes friendlyURL after first deployment

Running DXP 2026.Q1.8:

When deploying a Site Initializer Client Extension for the first time, the friendlyURL is set to /{siteName}.
On all subsequent deployment, the friendlyURL is changed to /group-{groupId}, even if it was changed in the Admin UI.

Thanks for the update and checking on the status of the ticket.

I posted some more details here if it helps the team to implement a solution so theat the friendlyURL can be controlled from site-configuration.json.

@Allison_McGill There’s a link to LPD-85594 in your ticket. Apparently it was fixed in 2026.Q2.0. Hoping this fix will also make it a 2026.Q1 LTS release?
