Hello,
the Questions Widget in Liferay by default only seems to allow Site Members to post and answer questions. Through the permission settings in the deprecated Message Boards overview in the product menu I can expand the permission to all users to allow them to create new threads.
But I seem to lack an option to allow normal users that aren’t site members to actually answer questions. Even their own posted questions they cannot answer or respond to comments. Is that an oversight or am I missing something?
The Questions Widget itself does not seem to have any further applicable permission settings besides through the deprecated Message Board configuration.
The documentation also does not mention specific permission settings for the widget.
