What is the problem you are trying to solve?
The customer would like to retrieve acquisition data, specifically the traffic source and channel counts, for a specific page and its child pages using Liferay Analytics Cloud. The inquiry is about filtering the analytics reports to focus on a particular section of the website, rather than viewing site-wide data.
What is your project about? (e. g. Intranet, Partner Portal, Enterprise Website, etc)
Enterprise Website.
Hi @Lili_Fulop , thank you for sharing the idea!
Your comment makes sense since teams want to understand what traffic / channels lead to a specific page. We currently have a feature that might cover this use case: Touchpoint > Site Section > Pages Tab, for the list of pages there, you can find a specific page and view the ‘path’ analysis of the page. If the page is a landing page for that session, you will see channels in the previous step. Here is the document for the Path analysis feature: Paths Analytics - Liferay Official Documentation - Liferay Learn
Since acquisition metrics are typically tied to the only the first page of a session, so filtering by a page and its child pages won’t change the overall acquisition breakdown. Does the above already cover your use case or you have other scenarios in mind?
