Google search links for Liferay documentation not working

Hi Guys,

Currently finding Liferay documentation through google search is not working most of the link are not working or redirecting to learn.liferay/documentation page, Its hard to find relevant information people who are new to platform , Are we doing anything for redirection of crawl google link, or we have to search everything via learn.liferay.com and bear this pain for now.

Please share a few specific examples. There are a few things going on with the site and links, and knowing which ones you're finding that are not redirecting as they should may help us get to the bottom of it.

Hi Yogesh, those appear to be help.liferay.com links. All of that domain's content was migrated to learn.liferay.com, and Google should continue to update indexing to point to Learn instead of help.liferay.com. For legacy official documentation (i.e., official docs for Liferay 7.2 and earlier), those articles are available in these Legacy Documentation PDFs: https://learn.liferay.com/w/reference/legacy-documentation. 7.2 versions of the two articles you linked can be found in the Developing Liferay DXP 7.2 PDF, starting at page 1753 for Filterable Properties and 1741 for Sort and Search.

This is a known issue, currently being worked on. For now the immediate fix is to search for the article’s title, which you see in the address bar.

Content was reorganized and there was sometechnical mess-up of the redirections.
