Course material exercise differs from the course material example code/data

Continuing with the Liferay learning material, I soon hit another wall after battling first with the download bug.

In the course Building-enterprise-websites-with-liferay, Site building module’s, Adding pages to Clarity’s site’s chapter, it is instructed:

“In the Static Pages tab, click New and select the Primary Master Page template.”

But unfortunately after clicking New there is no Primary Master page template at all, only Blank.

Just in case, I did git pull, in case course material code had been updated recently but no luck, and it seems to me there are differences between course material and the course example code.

To answer to my own question: the problem got solved by switching to another site under the example project, which contained all the expected elements and the “missing” template.

Thanks for reaching out! In the last ~week, this course was updated and now includes some additional pointers during some exercise steps (e.g., adding “In the Clarity Public Enterprise Website” to designate which site should be selected, etc.).

Hopefully those changes help make for a smoother learning process!
