What is the problem you are trying to solve?
Currently, the only way to provide 2FA options, including the QR code that needs to be scanned to activate an authenticator app, is to user the “user profile” portlet.
However, this portlet includes many other options (user address, organisation,…) which some clients to not need or do not want to display.
For now, we use CSS and other mechanisms to hide the unnecessary option, but we have very little leeway on the design.
