Hi Team,

I was provided with a `.bak` file from the client’s DEV environment, running **Liferay 2025.Q2.4** , along with the existing `document_library` folder.

I upgraded the bundle locally to **Liferay 2026.Q2.4** , and uploaded some new images and templates. After completing these changes, I took a backup of the local database along with the updated `document_library` folder and used them on the client DEV server as part of the upgrade to **Liferay 2026.Q3.2**.

The client’s server uses a shared folder for `document_library`, and the old bundle was already pointing to this shared location.

For the upgrade, I followed these steps:

1. Started the new bundle for the first time.

2. Configured the new database.

3. Shut down the bundle.

4. Added the following configuration to `portal-ext.properties`:

5. Added the `document_library` folder under `[Liferay_Home]/data`.

6. Started the bundle again, and the database upgrade completed successfully.

7. After that, I moved the `document_library` content to the client’s shared folder and changed the configuration to:

8. I also added `com.liferay.portal.store.file.system.configuration.AdvancedFileSystemStoreConfiguration.config` under `osgi/config` to define the `rootDir`.

9. Restarted the bundle, and the server started successfully.

The issue is that **some images are now broken while others are working correctly**.

There is also an important observation from my testing:

- When I remove the shared-folder configuration and point `AdvancedFileSystemStore` back to the default Liferay folder under `[Liferay_Home]/data`, **all images work correctly** , including the newly uploaded images.
- However, when I configure `AdvancedFileSystemStore` again to point to the **same shared folder** , some images become broken again.

Based on my investigation, I suspect that the images that existed in the original client `.bak` file and `document_library` folder are working correctly, while some of the images and files that were uploaded locally after the original backup was created are broken when the shared folder is used.

For example, the following is a database record for one of the broken images:

```auto
fileEntryId: 600029
groupId: 20117
name: 4101
fileName: v14.webp
extension: webp
mimeType: image/png
title: v14.webp
version: 1.0
size_: 3082558
```

I would appreciate your support in identifying why these newly added files are not being resolved correctly when using the shared `AdvancedFileSystemStore` location, and whether there is any additional migration, file synchronization, directory structure, or configuration required for files uploaded while the bundle was using `DBStore`.
